About Us

Our Story

Wahoo’s RV Park was created to offer travelers a peaceful place to land near the rivers and wooded hills of Tahlequah. As a Native American owned and operated park, we take pride in hospitality that is grounded in respect for people and the land. The owners designed each part of the property with space and ease in mind, from wide drives to roomy sites with room for two vehicles and a boat. Guests come here for the water, the fishing, and the quiet evenings under the trees. We built the park so it would feel welcoming for weekend wanderers, seasonal workers, and extended stay guests alike.

Many parks try to pack in as many rigs as possible, but we designed Wahoo’s to have a balance between community and privacy. The wide site spacing and shaded areas encourage neighbors to chat if they wish while still offering quiet areas for rest. This thoughtful design is one of the reasons guests return again and again.

Being Native American owned influences the way we steward the property and serve our guests. We respect the land, keep it tidy, and encourage a pace that lets people appreciate the outdoors. The park sits within easy reach of the rivers and the town of Tahlequah, which is rich with culture and history. Many guests come for the water and return for the calm of evenings under the trees. We aim to provide a stay that honors both.

What Makes Our Sites Different

Space matters. Each site gives you room to spread out, with shade from mature trees and open areas for easy maneuvering. Many sites are pull through to shorten setup time after a long drive, while back in sites provide a tucked away feel for longer stays. Water, sewer, and 30 amp or 50 amp electric service are standard at every site, included in your rate. The layout places hookups exactly where they are expected, which reduces the small hassles that can slow down arrival. Most guests find they can connect, level, and relax in minutes.

Our lots also allow for two vehicles plus a boat, which is a major advantage for river lovers. Rather than having to shuffle equipment between overflow areas, you can keep your boat, truck, and RV together in one place. This is especially convenient for early morning floats or fishing trips when you want a quick start.

Friendly Help When You Need It

Some travelers are experts at backing and hooking up. Others are just getting started. We are glad to offer light setup and back up assistance on request. It is part of the way we serve. Clear check in instructions and on call support make late arrivals less stressful, and our team is happy to share local ideas for day trips and river access. If you have a question, you will find a person ready to help.

Plan Your Visit

We invite you to make Wahoo’s your base for river floats, fishing, hiking, and simple time outdoors. Bring the boat, bring the dog, bring the family. Enjoy shade, space, and services that work. When it is time to rest, the park is calm and comfortable. When it is time to explore, you are close to everything that makes Tahlequah a favorite Oklahoma destination.

Commitment to Cleanliness and Comfort

Clean facilities shape the guest experience. Our restrooms are maintained routinely, with free hot showers for a fresh start after a day on the river. The laundry room is free to use, which makes extended stays simpler and cuts out extra costs. Wi-Fi helps remote workers and traveling families keep connected. Trash stations are placed for convenience, and security lighting supports a comfortable walk back to your rig after sunset.

We also mow and maintain the grounds weekly, trimming around pedestals, tables, and fire rings to keep things tidy. Seasonal cleanup ensures leaves and debris do not build up, which makes your stay smoother and safer.

Our Values

We believe a good RV park should be reliable, clean, and friendly. That starts with full hookups that always work, restrooms and showers that are cleaned and stocked, and a laundry room that is ready when you are. We keep the grounds trimmed and the lighting steady after sunset. We set simple rules to protect the peace of the park and the safety of all guests. We welcome pets and ask owners to be considerate so everyone enjoys their stay. Above all, we try to be helpful. If you need local tips, setup guidance, or a hand with something basic, our crew is happy to assist.
